Cranberry Crush Cocktail – fresh and fiery with just the right amount of sweet and tart

Hello from Arizona!
We made it! Although just barely. Wednesday was devoted entirely to travel. We flew a total of 13 hours in the air with a 5 hour lay over and we up and about for over 24 hours. I can’t even begin to tell you how excited I was to jump in the shower as soon as I could to just wash off all the plane stick.
So I don’t know about you, but I am so ready for a cocktail (or three) right about now.

Cranberry Crush Cocktail
I adapted this recipe slightly from Saveur. I’ve been really into all things cranberries lately that making a cranberry infused cocktail just had to be done. I’m so into it.
Aside from love this is filled with
…100% real cranberry juice
…a squeeze of lime
…golden rum
…fiery ginger beer. I love you Crabbie’s.
It’s a super fast and easy cocktail that doesn’t require a shaker. Just pour everything straight into your cocktail glass and you’re ready to go.

And now I’m to pour myself a drink and then wind down for bed. I think the jet lag is starting to catch up with me. Case and point: I just had to google ‘travel fatigue’ because I couldn’t remember the phrase ‘jet lag’. So before I incriminate myself – I’m off! Hope you enjoy your cocktail and your weekend!

Cranberry Crush Cocktail
Cranberry Crush Cocktail – fresh and fiery with just the right amount of sweet and tart
Ingredients
- ice
- 4 oz 100% cranberry juice
- 4 oz golden rum
- 1 oz lime juice
- 4 oz ginger beer
- 2 lime slices
Instructions
- In a cocktail shaker: Add ice, cranberry juice, rum and lime juice. Cover and shake to mix and chill.
- Pour: Fill a couple of cocktail glasses halfway full of ice. Divide the cocktail mixture between the glass and top off with ginger beer, filling to the top. Serve with lime slices and enjoy.
